deepFalcon1313 ("deepFalcon," "we," "us") publishes daily cybersecurity threat and vulnerability intelligence reports. This policy explains what information we collect from visitors and subscribers, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights available to you. We built this service for security professionals who care about data handling — so we've tried to make this policy as direct and specific as the reports themselves.
1Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what's generated automatically when you use the IOC Database tools, and what our payment processor collects on our behalf when you subscribe to a paid tier.
| What | When it's collected | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | Free newsletter signup (Beehiiv form) | To deliver daily threat & vulnerability reports |
| Name & email | Subscribing to a paid tier (Stripe checkout) | To process payment and identify your account |
| Payment details | Paid tier checkout | Processed entirely by Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers |
| Selected plan tier | If you use the "intended plan" selector on the Subscribe page | Generates a pre-filled email to us, from your own email client, so we can lock in your founding rate. This data is not transmitted to or stored by us automatically — it only reaches us if you choose to send the resulting email. |
| Browser session data | Browsing the IOC Database | Cached locally in your browser (sessionStorage) to avoid repeated lookups. Cleared automatically after 12 hours or when you close your browser. Never sent to our servers. |
| Standard web logs | Any visit to deepfalcon1313.com | Our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically logs IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and performance — standard for any web host |
We do not currently require account creation to read free reports. The free tier is delivered entirely through your email subscription.
2How we use your information
- Deliver reports. Your email address is used to send the daily Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability reports you signed up for, and nothing else, unless you separately opt in.
- Process payment. If you subscribe to a paid tier, Stripe handles billing, renewal, and receipts on our behalf.
- Honor founding-rate requests. If you email us using the intended-plan tool, we use that information solely to apply your founding member rate when paid billing activates.
- Improve the service. Aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns (which reports get read, which tiers people select) help us decide what intelligence to prioritize.
- Respond to you. If you email us with a question or support request, we use your message and contact details to respond.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes, ever.
3Third-party services we use
We rely on a small number of established providers to run deepFalcon1313. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data:
| Provider | Purpose | Their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Beehiiv | Email newsletter delivery and free subscriber management | beehiiv.com/privacy |
| Stripe | Payment processing for paid subscription tiers | stripe.com/privacy |
| Hostinger | Website hosting | hostinger.com/privacy-policy |
We do not control how these providers handle data once it's in their systems, but we choose providers with privacy commitments consistent with our own.
4Cookies & similar technologies
deepFalcon1313 keeps cookie use minimal:
- Essential cookies set by Stripe during checkout, required to process payment securely.
- sessionStorage (not a cookie) used by the IOC Database page to cache published indicators locally in your browser for up to 12 hours, reducing repeated lookups. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking cookies.
5Data retention
- Newsletter subscribers: retained for as long as you remain subscribed, plus a reasonable period after unsubscribing to honor suppression requirements under CAN-SPAM.
- Paid subscribers: billing records are retained per Stripe's standard retention practices and applicable tax/accounting recordkeeping requirements.
- Founding-rate emails: retained as long as needed to honor your locked-in rate, and as part of our standard business correspondence.
- Web server logs: retained per Hostinger's standard hosting log rotation, typically a matter of weeks.
6Your rights and choices
Regardless of where you live, you can:
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send, or by emailing us directly.
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legitimate need to retain billing records as required by law.
- Cancel a paid subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page. We'll respond within 30 days.
7How we protect your information
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including:
- Using established, reputable third-party processors (Stripe, Beehiiv) rather than building our own payment or email infrastructure, so your most sensitive data is handled by providers with dedicated security teams and compliance certifications.
- Never storing full payment card numbers on our own systems — Stripe handles all card data under PCI-DSS compliance.
- Serving the site over HTTPS encryption.
- Limiting internal access to subscriber data to what's necessary to operate the service.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected subscribers without undue delay, consistent with applicable law.
8Children's privacy
deepFalcon1313 is a professional cybersecurity intelligence service intended for security practitioners, IT professionals, and business decision-makers. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9International visitors
deepFalcon1313 is operated from the United States. If you access our service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using our service, you consent to this transfer.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves — for example, if we introduce new features like full subscriber account management. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do, and for material changes affecting how we use previously collected information, we'll notify active subscribers by email.
